Karima is a French-Moroccan native, speaking English, French, and Arabic. Born and raised in Casablanca, she emigrated to Boston in 2001. She and her husband Enzo live in Lexington with their two children, Mia and Liam, who attend the International School of Boston | ISB, in Cambridge where they pursue a bilingual curriculum in both French and English. Together they have developed strong ties within the Cambridge, Arlington, and Lexington communities.
Karima earned a Master of Arts in Finance with honors from Paris-Dauphine Université in France. In 2003 she was awarded a Master’s of Arts In International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University Business School which led to a 20-year career in corporate retail, having worked with some of the most recognized brands in the industry including Converse, Nike, Puma, Tretorn, and Sperry Top-Sider. Most recently she was the Global Director of Merchandising for Stores and Digital across the world at Converse.

In her spare time, Karima enjoys spending time outdoors, with her Boxer, King. She also fully enjoys running, spinning, and challenging herself in half-marathon and triathlons.
She also successfully battled Breast Cancer and is now a survivor who dedicates a lot of her energy to giving back by supporting and coaching diagnosed patients, close connection or extended, in her large community network.
